It is my understanding that, at least here in Massachusetts, bank fees cannot cause an overdraft.
According to
this ABC News story apparently that isn’t the case in Illinois.
As a side note: I printed the story and as I handed the printout to Mum I said “This’ll get your blood to boil – then you’ll be warm!”
